How many Monitors I can get for Free?
You can get up to 5 monitors with a free account.

What is time interval for monitoring?
For free accounts the time periods for monitoring are 15, 30 & 60 minutes.

How can I check if my site is up or not?
You can check the uptime status of your site right now on this page.

How can I add more monitoring?
To add monitors, first login to your member Control Panel. (You have to create an account for this.) In the Control Panel there is a link to "Manage Your Monitors." You can find the option to add new monitors in the target page.

How can I delete monitoring?
On your Monitor Management page the list of your monitors is shown. There is a “Delete” control option next to each monitor. After clicking to “Delete,” the following page will display a confirmation dialogue. Click “yes” to approve deletion of the monitor.

Can I disable my monitoring for some time?
Sure. In your Monitor Management page the list of your monitors is shown. There is an “Edit” link for each monitor. On the following the page, check the "inactive" option for the "Make status the Monitor:" field, & click “submit” to disable the monitor for some time. When you need to turn the monitor on again, make the status of the monitor "active" in the same page.

Can I provide daily Maintenance time of my site?
We currently do not provide this service. You would have to manually turn the monitor to “inactive” for the desired time.

Can I add additional/alternate emails for alert?
For each monitor there is a field for “Additional email.” You can specify an email id there if you want to receive alerts to this id, along with your main email id, for your account.

What are the criteria used to determine whether site is up or down?
You can see the monitoring report for your site for the current month from your Member Control Panel. On your Monitor Management page the list of your monitors is displayed. There is a “View Report” link next to each monitor. Click the link to see the report for that monitor. Also, at the end of each month the Monitoring Summary for all your monitors will be mailed to your main email id.

Can I get to know how well my site responds in general?
You can see the graphical representation for the loading time of your site. As described in the previous question, you can see the Monitoring Report/Summary for each Monitor you have added. On that page you can see the "View Loading Graph" link. This link will display the graph if there is any record for that Monitor for the selected month. This graph plots the loading time of your site, and provides you with a general idea of how well your site has been responding over a given time period.

Monitoring data is available for how long?
For the free account, we keep monitoring records for one month.

What are the criteria used to determine site is up or down?
For a site to be regarded as UP, the server has to return status code 200. For any other status code the site is considered to be DOWN.
